The next day, my oncologist's office called to say there was a spot on the mammogram and they wanted to do a spot compression and an ultrasound. I went in for the tests this morning. The tech did a frontal image and said, "it has disappeared." She then did a side view and decided to do another frontal view again. (I assume this was just to be sure it is gone.
I was sent to a different hospital location for the ultrasound. There were two techs there and they mumbled as they spoke about what they were seeing. They poked and probed for almost an hour. I think they were looking for something that had disappeared. They were unable to tell me anything of course, but I am sure that whatever was there on Wednesday is gone now.
I have had my prayer warriors praying for me ever since they found the spot on the first mammogram. I know God has got this. I have the peace and assurance that He is in control and I will not worry.
God has been with me through so many tough times and every time, he has sent someone to be by my side. Even today he sent someone to speak peace to me. As I was coming out of the Tennova Westside hospital, Joyce Slocomb was coming in. We hugged and she asked how I was doing. I shared with her that I was on my way to have the ultra sound. She agreed with me that God is in control and He has got this.
I will let you know when I get the results. In the mean time I am resting assured that no matter what God is in control. He is my Healer! He is my Deliverer! He knows what is best for me. God's got this!
